OPERATION: H-DAY! Retake Hadesheim August 13!

Brigadier Carramone,

As you are well aware, August 17th is a dark day in the history of Calypso. It marks the anniversary of the destruction of our Capital City by robot forces bent on the destruction of humanity.
While we did lose our beloved Hadesheim, we've managed to maintain our tenuous foothold on the planet, despite the losses wreaked upon us when Typhon impacted.

Now it's time we did more than maintain. Now is the time to begin preparations to take back the impact area and to plan the resurrection Hadesheim.

Manticore is prepared to join forces with any and all Societies, freelance colonists, and Imperial forces beginning at 00:00.15 on13 August in an attempt to launch massive attacks from Camp Phoenix to take and hold Hadesheim until at least 00:00.15 on 17 August. In further correspondences, this action will be classified as "Operation: H-Day".

If the Federal Imperial Government or CDF is unable to send troops in support of this action, Manticore would request that some forward facilities be dropped in the vicinity of the center of the crater in support of this operation. We understand that a revive terminal may will be impractical due to laws of Physx that we laymen do not comprehend, but we do not feel that a shoptainer or other small, portable facility with trade, repair, and storage terminals would not be an unreasonable request to make for the liberation of Hadesheim.

Those engaged in this operation will also need respite from combat. As you may recall from the last robot attack, many fell in defense of the Junkyard Bar, which was located in the NE sector of Hadesheim. While the original bar was not an ideal defensible structure, a namesake could be a symbol of the return of humanity to Hadesheim and build colonist morale. Perhaps the Imperial Corps of Engineers could emplace a structure of some type in the area of operation named in honor of that fine establishment that would have served beverages to thirsty defenders right till impact... had that last beer shipment arrived?

Manticore will begin liaison operations with other Societies, corporate interests, and media outlets on-planet, requesting their support for this operation. We will provide CDF with additional operational details as they come available. .

An Open Letter to all Calypso Colonists

To all Societies and Freelancers on Calypso, Greetings!

Now is the time. For one year we've waited for the government to reclaim our Capitol city from the robot grip imprisoning the impact zone.

It is now time to send the robots a message, and that message is "Leave Calypso or be turned to scrap."

Please join Manticore and our allies at 00:00 UTC on the 13th at Camp Phoenix. From there we shall proceed to Hadesheim to reclaim and hold our land, and once again proclaim Hadesheim as our Capitol!

Bogger, at this point, we need all guns. Every colonist that can fire a weapon is gonna be needed. Hell, every colonist that can pick up a wrench is needed (McCormick, that means YOU!)!

Well.. H-Day turned out to be far more of an event than anyone at Manticore thought it would be. Carramone remained a REMF and never brought CDF onto the field of battle. The Colony has been able to hold its own, despite massive onslaughts of robots of common, uncommon, and unique models. Fierce Hydra models have been dispatched with conventionl and unconventional tactics.

Thanks to those that came out to Junkyard Bar 2.0 while it existed. It was good to have a party at Hadesheim again!
