Planet Calypso AB, developer and publisher of Planet Calypso, a sci-fi MMO based in the Entropia Universe, announced todaythat it is hosting it's extremely popular Merry Mayhem winter hunting contest again for all the naughty and nice, boys and girls of Planet Calypso.This year's event features an expanded prize pool with new prizes, including valuable Calypso Land Deeds, Skill Pills and creature DNA. Running over 23 days between December 14 th, 2012 and January 6 th, 2013, Merry Mayhem is among the most exciting and popular events in all of Entropia Universe. It's the most wonderful time of the year!

The Merry Mayhem hunting contest awards prizes to everyone from beginners to experienced colonists with the most kill-points over a total of no more than 30 hours in several categories, and an additional 30 hours for teams. (Even gamers need time to open presents and drink Eggnog). The mission system will be used to track the Merry Mayhem event. The Mayhem mission is available from the NPC Carl Tucker, located in Port Atlantis. Register solo or as a team to get your instance keys.

Everyone will have a chance at winning a prize this year. Players will only need to compete with other participants at their own skill level, and in one of 4 available sub-categories meaning more prizes and more chances to win. Players also get to enjoy Merry Mayhem free from interference from other participants, in a newly designed instance full of unique Merry Mayhem loot, creatures and bosses. In between all this holiday good cheer colonists can are able to play as much as they want outside of the event as well. There will be no restrictions on play time outside the instances.
