What good is censorship as long as the censors don't have power over the internet archive. (In the real world, this has already changed and proceeds ever faster...)
You mean it is harvesting updates faster? My first thought was if stuff gets removed quick enough, surely they can avoid it being recorded. They could also block it if they so wished but that would be a shame.
Afaik the internet archive doesn't crawl websites automatically, you have to tell it to take a snapshot of a page. I do that every time I see or myself post something I think might be at risk and worth preserving. With the browser extension that's two clicks.
Nice! I feel I really should have known that! Maybe I should get the extension, and tell "Mulder" to do the same. AFAIK I've had 2 posts removed of late, neither of which were especially controversial or even OT IMHO.
