(all times server time) We are aware that some players are experiencing an issue with the Hub Arenas and the skill over ride, however, MindArk has informed us that they have been unable after months of testing to replicate the issue in order to solve it. We have decided to include the Hub for the ten event despite there still being a possible issue. It is out of our hands and we consider the Hub to be one the most fair place to test skills in Entropia for an event such as this. Here's the Prizes: 1st Place - Chronicle Thigh Guards TEN Edition (F) + Armor Plating Mark. 10C (L) TEN Edition 2nd Place - Chronicle Helmet (M) TEN Edition 3nd Place - Chronicle Gloves (F) TEN Edition 4th Place - Armor Plating Mark. 10B TEN Edition 5th Place - Armor Plating Mark. 10C TEN Edition 6th Place - Arsonistic Chip III TEN Edition 7th Place - Paladin Thigh Guards (F) TEN Edition 8th Place - Paladin Helmet (M) TEN Edition 9th Place - Paladin Gloves (F) TEN Edition 10th Place - Arsonistic Chip III (L) TEN Edition Item Info: Source
So 5 days to go. It's really interesting to see how Cyrene denies to fully exploit EU's revenue model: repetitively grinding and decaying for a vanishingly low chance to get something cool/valuable. I mean, this could be designed as a months lasting Mayhem style event as well. Another example: natural organic continents/islands for a realistic experience instead of extending land masses to almost the full square server area in order to maximize revenues just like other planets. Tyvm, Planet Cyrene.
The timing of the Cyrene TEN event is unfortunate with everyone on Ark killing oratans. Also the event seems like it was thrown together quickly to meet the year end deadline and featuring the Hub is risky. However a three day event is much better than a Calypso style extended grind-a-thon. Totally unrelated - I'm really curious to see how the Ark event affects CLD revenue this month.
