Planets can now be Downloaded Individually

Hi to all on EP;

Earlier today I discovered this message when trying to TP to PA 'New Arrivals' (see pic below). Essentially, you are now asked to download the planet you want to go to; or a location on a planet that you want to got to - even if you are already on that planet. I clicked on the green-tick box a few times, but not much luck, so I then logged out; logged back in and then all was ok... I've since found out, that what you're meant to do, is to click on the map's destinations drop-down list, select the planet desired and then click on the blue download arrow, at least that's how I understood it ;)

 

You mean they make a habit of not telling ppl? Phew! When the message appeared, I remembered something about this in a recent content release download - 11.6.0, but don't understand why you're asked to download planet content for the planet you're already on when you're about to TP somewhere on the same planet... I suppose you also have to downlaod content for any other planet you want to get to from the one you're already on before you step onto a TP to get there, otherwise you'll get the same message ;)

Yep, that's what I remembered as well, so maybe there's a bug or something with this part:

Default download behavior: The default download behavior is that only the planetary system you are located on is downloaded automatically. Within that planetary system one planet is downloaded at a time.

This is because I'm still getting the same message when trying to TP from one place to another on the same planet, but if I then leave the TP and re-download the planet content with the download arrow on the map, then everything's ok...

 

Well, this is how the message appeared to me initially when I tried to use the TP, and I then clicked on the green-tick box many times and nothing seemed to be happenning, LOL! But I agree, it does seem to be showing what you're saying...
