Right, so ... those who don't know me, you can learn more than you probably want to know from reading the Planet Calypso Forum. I'm not a "write an introduction" type of person. I'm starting to plan a trip to Next Island, to happen in a couple of weeks (probably) and to also last at least a couple of weeks. This is an initial set of plans / questions on it. Any feedback on this would be very much appreciated. Missions I see there is a iron mission style mission chain called "The Simian problem", are there any others I should know about? Weapons My initial plan was to take along some Isis LR rifle and a Breer P5a/Geotrek Scrof for main shooting. However, as most papoo seem to have very low health, are there any suggestions for a weapon to bring for these? Armors I will try to bring as good set of armors / plates for damage testing as I can. Its a shame there is almost no data on this. But are there any armors I should specificly make sure I bring for my own use? Mindforce Do Mindforce attack chips drop on Next Island? Trade Goods Is there any demand for any of the following: Ziplex Z5(L) Ziplex Z10 Finder (L) Finder F-101 / F-102 Vivo T5(L) Svempa S40(L) Loughlin Smacker One(L) Loughlin Scratcher / Cutter One(L) Low level crafted armors
The Arkadia TT weapons or Breer m1a/p1a work good for most papoo. The Grey Papoo are a little tougher and you could use your p5a. As for armour, Gremlin and 5b go along way here. Unless your interested in going after the Drakes, they deal the damage they are named after(vulcan=burn, death=acid, storm=electric, ice=cold). If your interested in going after the sharks Gremlin and 5b will work against all maturities except for Island shark prowler/stalker, normal shark prowler/stalker, and wont even slow any of the great whites down. If your interested in the Great whites then Sparticus with 8a is a decent setup for the low maturities. Yes MF chips drop on NI, so far the only creature I have looted them from are the Great whites. Mostly looted TP chips and regen chip I(L) but looted the odd attack or strike chip as well.
Well, I don't think I'm going after big sharks or big drakes. Much too much HP for my taste (and probably budget too).
