Here's an idea, How about some sort of expendable nanobots that could be caried to repair items. I mean you could purchace them so that 20 ped of bots can repair 20 ped TT of items. It could just be a little box that acts like a limited repair terminal. I know id carry them for many reasons. If im hunting out in the middle of nowhere and all of a sudden my melee weap, amp, gun, armour needs help but i dont want to trek the 40 miles back to a service center quite yet, but i do need to repair, whala i pull out my 100 ped nano box and repair up.
Or your extractor craps out in the middle of a 7000 PED Lyst pile... not that that's ever happened to me, well once, but it was 200+ melchi...Perhaps Bunny would be better suited to respond to this.
Way back when I first started playing PE I got a very large oil deposit. I had to go back to a repair terminal 5 times to repair the TT extractor that I had. LOL. Ditch the TT equipment as soon as you can afford an upgrade.
LOL - allmost exactly the same thing happened to me once, only silly me, I didn't buy any ME so I couldn't use the tp chip - AAAAHHH! It took me nearly five hours or more to extract the lot as I could only crawl anywhere after a while, and I had to avoid mobs at the same time. --- PE$20 worth of repair nanobots for PE$20 worh of repairs is a great idea.
