Project Entropia and VISA

Charges for purchases in Project Entropia using Visa credit cards have been suspended temporarily, until the new security system "3D Secure" has been introduced. The reason behind this is the large number of so-called "charge-backs" - a rampant problem throughout the Internet today. This is when a credit card owner protests a charge to his/her card. Project Entropia has had its fair share of such protests (labeled charge-back). Each such protest leads to costs in the system; for Visa and the bank issuing the credit card, as well as for us.

Payment can be made via alternative payment systems, most easily via bank transfer. The Alternative Payment System can be found on our webpage under WebShop, Alt.Payment. Other alternative payment options will be introduced shortly.
