Anyway, live conciously. Everyone is welcome to draw their own conclusions and opinions on any part of this project. Including the reasons for undertaing it :)

 

Been a busy day, I have setup just over 20 registrations so far.

Once I have all of them in place, inc, G+, facebook, twitter and the major and minor MMO sites, I will present a list and people can request for others to be added.

Still undecided on the streaming server. I will trial the four I have so far and see what suits best.

This is not about failing or succeeding, it is not about getting any uber items.
It is purely a data collection and analytics project based on one form of playstyle which covers 90%+ of the global gaming audience playstyle (Entertainment). The outcome can be determined after a few years. It does not bother me too much as to how it turns out in the end, only that it does come to some formal conclusion/resolution.

I do hope it will turn out good for all involved - MindArk, players, MMO gamer site audience members, game reviewers/presenters and maybe even myself in some small form of self satisfaction and inner resolution.

I won't hold my breath for now as to which direction this project will take;
It is best to see this as an adventure with an unknown outcome that could be // good - between - bad //

As I said in my OP, whichever way the cookie crumbles is the way it will crumble.

 

All are welcome to predict as they feel the need to, I shall make no predictions, I will do then report outcomes in accordance with that listed below:

There will be no skimping on any tools, weapons or armor of any kind.


YES @ 1. All (L)imited items will be used where-ever possible. Dependant on market availability.
YES @ 2. Sufficient, including lower and higher level 10/10 HIT&DMG (L) weapons will be used.
YES @ 3. All maxed 100% (L) heal tools will be used.
YES @ 4. (L) Armor will always be used that is appropriate protection (no skimping incurring unnecessary healing) for the mob being hunted as per availability from the auctioneer/supply shops at their going market rates.
NO @ 5. No time will be wasted collecting any stackable loot to sell off, especially 101 - 105% stuff, even paint cans, extractors, hides, wools, etc etc that require many dozens of sittings to collect a reasonable stack to sell off will not have any time wasted on them (Anything that reflects boring/difficult/stressful/tracking/continuous-collecting actions is not within the scope of Entertainment nor this project).
NO @ 6. No time will be spent unnecessarily trying to sell off loot at potential trade areas that usually require hours of effort harassing passing-by traffic - That is no fun at all and the opposite of entertainment. Leave work for real life.
YES @ 7. If an item drops with 20+ PED attached to it, then yes, the auctioneer will be used to sell off that item as it will be considered the entry point of noteable value. Anything lower than this will be trashed to TT.

In a nutshell as said in the original post, Entertainment, no boring/exhaustive or penny pinching activities that can consume many hours and PED to achieve. Sorry Harmony, we are doing this in accordance with the attitude of 90%+ of the gaming audience out there wanting ot be entertained, not conditioned - We are not going to try and teach gamers new tricks, that will be up to each individual to decide on which path they will take if they choose to pickup and play the game Entropia Universe.

Yes. Missions will be the primary focus of the activity undertaken for this project.

I intend to keep to a steady pace, selecting somewhere between 2 to 3 mobs to rotate on to keep things a little interesting.

I don't intend to participate in any of the events like meyhems, this that or the other as they will disrupt a steady routine and really at this point in time, you really have very little chance to win anything on such a small budget of $100 usd a week.

I expect the general missions at times will become somewhat boring for some people to do, but this will also demonstrate what kind of goals MindArk set for the player, the rewards attached and what is expected of them to obtain those rewards. Luckly for me, long monotonous tasks are easy to get into and stay with, since they relax me and are like meditation after a while once the routine is formed.

At present I am doing the 25k/30k ambu points and 2500/10k atrox points missions which I cruise on daily.

Having fun gaming is not an issue since I play a number of games, like Star Citizen, Elders Scrolls, X Rebirth and Everquest Next that provide everything that may be lacking in Entropia Universe. So my diet is full of good and rich experiences entertainment wise.

The point with Entropia & Mindark is I have found purpose in what I need resolved within myself after playing the game for so long, spending so much money, experiencing the gaming company modus operandi & attitudes and community alike;

Hence why I am willing to spend so much time, money and effort this time around on getting tthese things about Entropia and MindArk within me resolved once and for all.

This time I have decided it will be done. I am ordering the 10/10M Sync link most likely today, lead time is around eight weeks. I know I will find this project in the long run satisfying to accomplish.

I have ordered the new link this morning, just over $1200 for install $1099+GST. Lead time, 40 - 60 business days, so 8 to 12 weeks. It is a bit long, but due to the almost 2kms of cable involved, they need to qualify 4 x quality pair (8-wires) to run the service across. We have the NBN being installed in the area as well, but since I am part of the commercial rated zoning (Even though I am R1 residental) I will be needing to wait another 2 years for the 100M/40M Sync fibre service.

So in the meantime, this will be the soluton needed 10M/10M Sync.

Also I visited the doctor and got another heart test done, all is looking ok for the current condition it is in. Torn inner chamber, 16mm. So I was happy with that, I guess. Hoping it heals over the next 2 - 3 years to whatever degree it can as I have refused operations and medicine for it.

Blood pressure came right down, 141/78, still a touch high but better than what it was a few weeks ago 202/85. I also lost 9 kgs in 7 weeks and if this continues to my optimum weight for my height 187cm, 90kgs. Then all should look good for the future :)

 

So easy to do stuff on forums and websites with www.overwolf.com browser, I like the fact that is chrome based and has all needed plugins like flash-player etc already installed :)

Alright I deposit $ 250 USD into Entropia today and spent almost 1,000 PED on new armor set (L) URSA from the guys at SFE - Southern Fortress Engineering, great value, lasts a very long time hunting.

I think I might take it easy this weekend and play a bit more than usual :)
I will continue to do registrations over the weekend, I hope to have it all complete by Monday night.
