does time travel work yet? they promised that it would "next week" several weeks ago back when the pre-launch came

 

then if it doesnt work why is the NI team parading around at gaming conventions like CES, showing off an incomplete planet, pretending like thats the way its supposed to be?

imo it makes entropia universe look stupid to potential new comers, i know if you showed me WOW then showed me NI, i would choose WOW even though i hate WOW, i would rather play it than play on NI :/

 

calypso wasn't released with next to nothing to do, im just curious why they are promoting an empty planet. you dont need to get soo defensive greyfox, i was just asking a question, which btw you really didnt answer. they stated sometime before the pre-launch that NI was going to be released a "fully functioning planet". and imo only CND on NI is fully functioning, to me the main island looks like a blank canvas being marketed as a work of art, when its really a "work in progress".

im glad you responded so quickly, but was anything tested before launch? were there any beta testers that were supposed to make sure things worked before launch? why launch if you know things arnt tested fully and still have the possibility to fail horrendously, yes i know MA has released things into planet calypso that didnt work.. but that was well after planet calypso launched, the NI team has the ability to look at past problems and avoid them, and they probably have with all the pushing back of the launch dates, but still their planet is a baron wasteland of nothing but teleports, why didnt they push back the launch date again, as they have before, many times? if the pre-launch was the testing platform to see if things would not work with the live servers and players testing things out for the first time, why didnt they implement it for us to see it, touch it, test it, experience it?
i went to NI the day it was launched, excited to see all the new hype that they exclaimed would be there, but the planet is still the same as it was the day i first went, with the exception of the sacred boars being removed. nothing was added and we still haven't experienced the time travel (even if it broke on us and stranded us in another time). we were never given anything to test, all we got was tons of NEVERDIE branding in our faces, even the beer in the ice buckets have neverdie's names on them, like seriously? giant ego much? i like the dude, i really do but it is a bit much to name EVERY THING after himself like mobs, beer, various buildings... the list goes on and on..

i know i have alot of questions, and most of them will probably go unanswered, but i had to ask :) and i dont mean to troll, i just dont understand, so many things.

 

also i would like to add that i was there on NI last week for a few days, and my brother and i met a few people who had heard about NI and were excited as we were when we first went there, but alas every one of the new players we met, decided to quit within the first few hours, some took about 2 days to quit. their reasoning to quit wasnt about the cost to play, wasnt because they didnt like how everything looked with CE2, it was because there was nothing there, it was "boring"... sadly i had to agree with them :(
