Well, we managed to get in touch with the people from the See planet, and have also found them willing to answer the questions you have regarding their upcoming planet(s). We will try and work with them and ensure they will get dedicated accounts here when they get nearer release. For the time being, in order to distract them as little from their busy agendas as possible, we'll take similar approaches as with the other interviews, where we collect your questions and submit them after some shuffling around. Ok let me start :) We know so little about the new planets and after reading up on your website about SEEVW I must admit, I still know very little. You tell us, that you work together with NEVERDIE. How will Planet SEE differ from ROCK Tropia and Next island? Since SEE is obviously affected by Hollywood in some sort of ways, is that something we will notice a lot on the planet? Fx I would personally find it cool if one of the auctioneers was Marilyn Monroe or Luke Skywalker .. but I guess it's not like this you are connected? :D More will follow ... ;)
Here's some of my input: Considering the angle at whih See approaches the virtual worlds, it sounds as if the idea is to complement a new major blockbuster release with, apart from the traditional different DVD editions and merchandise, virtual worlds shaped around the movie. Could you elaborate on whether this is an accurate description? If the idea is to add a virtual world for movie enthusiasts, how long is the expected lifecycle of these planets estimated to be? How is See planning on generating revenue through the planets? Will your worlds offer different professions than the ones nowadays available on planet Calypso (hunter, miner, crafter, colorer, beautician, etc), or will each world focus on very specifically themed professions? (Vampire slayer, werewolf killer, Willy free-er). What cost-of-playing will See be aiming for?
Will see provide a online ingame shopping platform? How will we see the relation to the movie industry in game? Will the traditional activities from planet calypso, such as hunting mining and crafting be available within the SEE planet or will the focus lay on socialising and promoting RL? ETA?
