My first impression: Wow, this place is perfect! Yes, in the far north i found a river that was not a river, only a blue ribbon as a placeholder. Probably the sad witnesses of the moment when the funding was interrupted? However, all that's finished (the whole southern part) is made with love and passion. It's perfect in it's finest details and it feels natural, like walking around in real places. NI sets the bar very high - if this is possible on NI it can be done on every planet. The Neverdie Island has distinctively different feel to it. It's professional, it's well planned and thought out but it doesn't even try to hide the fact that it's meant to be one big Disneyland - race tracks, nightclubs, spa's and VIP entertainment. Perfect place to party, spend time, money and have fun. NI sound deserves a special attention. All EU sound is stereo, it's built into engine, but on NI your surround sound system fills the whole room with the fresh shivering air of the tropical paradise. Good work! The soundtracks are well chosen, they all fit into the atmosphere, but... that's something you have to go and listen yourself! ;) Here's the images:
Yes, it's a beautiful planet. Ok, we've got the Floating River, but that's been there so long it's considered a feature. Ancient Greece is beautiful too. Edit:According to today's patch notes for NI, The Floating River will be no more.
Oh great to see someone else making a thread like this and some really lovely pics there. I should put some more of mine up some time. Also nice to see someone noticing sound - the sound scape really is very good. As are the mob noises and animation. I really really REALLY wish Entropia would start using environmental audio though. So we get echos and such
Its nice someone else likes taking photos in Entropia too... I think its my main past time So much more interesting with different day cycles and clouds also... makes everything dynamic. If we could get weather patterns as well I'd be a totally happy bunny :D
