  1. SACRED SECRET?

    View attachment 690

    So as my days pass on this lovely Island, I have come to grips with the realities we have faced. Talking Monkeys, Wild Boars, Sharks, even the walking undead (Skeletons). There are multiple types of Drakes that fill the air with certain fear, and if your lucky enough to make it past the Portal Guardians, you may find peace at the top of the mountain which houses a very EERIE yet tranquil portal that promises future time travel.
    Yes, N.I. has its share of bestiary, and beautiful scenery.
    I would now like to take the time to focus on one Mob in particular:

    THE SACRED BOAR

    The initial "bum rush" of these animals seemed to have driven them to extinction. With their ENORMOUS health and minimal damage potential, they seemed to grow very popular, very fast. Often costing players north of 50 ped to take one down, once again focusing on team efforts, were almost a prerequisite.
    I personally had the pleasure of taking many of these wild beasts down and have to say they held a high value in my portfolio of mobs.
    Where did they go? Was it a migration? Was it extinction?

    Upon hours of traveling this diverse landscape in my vehicle, I have crossed many mountains, swam many seas, and trudged many vast deserts/forests to find that they have indeed just disappeared.

    Maybe they hold the key to time travel and in that themselves are the first to use the Sacred Time Travel Gates. They have traveled back in time to a more peaceful scene, without the people hunting them.

    Only time will tell, and maybe add another chapter to this bizarre story. But when and if they do RE-appear, I can promise you one thing. Societies United, we will continue our quest for the answers to this sacred boar and the secrets they hold to the elusive SACRED time travel.

    Perhaps the Cyclops and Minotaurs are now doing battle with the Sacred Boar seeking to discover the secrets they hold to the elusive sacred time travel. Or maybe the boars went back a little further to the Ice Age and are now dodging spears.

  3. I believe i killed the last sacred boar. I found two in a place where they werent before, and after getting my 700 ped hof on the last one i killed i havent seen any more globals. So i think i got the last one ^^

    They arent all located on CND, they can be found on other places too. Alot of people dont seem to know that

  4. yupypu I slaughter 7 for my dinner after that last main VU on the mainland

    I usually wonder about what could possibly be 'sacred' about them.

    are we going to have barbecue with boar steaks, or just sacrifice them to lootus and hope for a better day?

  6. I vote for extinction. Like the Moa, the Mastodon, and the Dodo the Sacred Boar were in high demand but there was not a supply to keep up with them.

  7. I vote for "lootius intervention". To many people hunting his sacred pork, he had to take them to his own plane of existence in order to preserve his favourite food. :)

  8. nopenope sacrifice them to our dark lord of loots LOOTSIFER! Evil and fickle god of loots -.-

  9. god i feel like a sacred juicy steak after reading this... a big one... toilet seat-sized steak... gaaaaawd im hungry now.. *drools*

  10. And here I thought you only ate plankton. :palm:

  11. Actually Jellyfish will eat almost any type of meat if it's cut up small enough. I had one as a pet when I was 14 :)

  12. Jellyfish was your pet?? lol

  13. jellyfish are meat eaters really. stingers are for paralyzing and killing the prey before devouring it, and not really for protection... oh, and of course to tick off happy swimmers >=)

    now speaking of food and hunting... here's a comparison between a hungry blp lover and a laser rifle lover.
    the blp lover:
    first he/she has to kill the boar, clean the corpse of lead, cook it and then eat it.. such a hassle...
    kill -> clean the corpse from lead -> cook -> eat
    while the laser user, who shoots hot beams of lights, with the added benefit of cooking the boar as we kill it, will have a finnished cooked meal when the boar is dead, as it is cooked in the process, so we get:
    kill -> eat

    now, again, blp lover:
    kill -> clean corpse from lead -> cook -> eat

    the laser lover:
    kill -> eat

    no wonder i prefer laser. lazy and hungry mans best friend
