I will be starting to sell off all of my remaining items, crystals, animal parts etc looted on Next Island today. I don't want to hang around, so will probably put most of it on auction on NI today, so if there is something specific you are looking for pm me here or ingame to see if I have it, or of course check the auction as all my stuff will go only for current MU or below in some cases.
+rep for not going over markup not many players like you around now nearly everyones selling 10x over markup we need more players like you to show the kids how market works its one reason i dont play any more becuse the tards messed up my game play with crazy stupid markup i have a few other reasons too but thats the main one right now
Ty boost, someone had the balls to accuse me of trying to 'rip people off' simply by selling the ingredients for the bp now, since Greece is bugged. Considering everything that was the icing on the cake. I have always tried to be reasonable and not one to take advantage, my loss and I'd never make it as a reseller. I simply wanted to get rid of my NI items now and clear my storage out, since I'm no longer playing there. Anyway, still some bp ingredients on auction, everything else is now gone. If the stuff on auction doesn't sell I guess it can hang there for eternity since I won't pay to come back for it lol. Gl all on NI.
Hi Lee :) I m really sorry to hear that you had to leave NI to keep the pleasure to play entropia. I understand your frustrations, indeed i did not sell the crystals i looted over the weeks on NI, neither the crystals i did buy as i wanted to do some screenshot with all the different NI items... Gathering and sharing informations about NI was one of the things we did share in this planet and community, Thanks for what you did! I did leave the planet before you did quit it, i might go again if the way to go to ancient Greece becomes affordable by everybody for a reasonnable cost. Till now i went back to NI only to take my Time Travel Crystal in storage to bring it back on calypso and sell it at auction for 10000% (500peds) that's insane! I wanted to go to ancient Greece so much, but this order was something that i couldn't refuse. Well i wish you fun whatever planet you play on, and everything is dynamic so we might meet again in other planets or in prehistoric age:) Enjoy
Thanks Enjoy. I was on NI within an hour or so of it's 'appearance' in Entropia, loved the scenery, loved the 'happy' feel of the place and the few who came along there the first few days, and had great hopes for it's future, and of the three planets now it was the one I wanted to call home. I did leave it once before and came back for the last VU with hopes once again raised that the public info would finally match the customer's reality. I am over being angry now, it is a game, a costly one, but my free choice whether or not to play in it or which planets to support. I would love to return to NI one day, but I have no high hopes at this point that that will be soon, as certain things would need to happen first: 1. The owner becomes involved in his business more directly than reposting someone else's tweets etc, and doing PR related stuff. He also must learn that his project is not like WoW or the 'social' game apps on facebook and mobile phones. If he does not know the difference than what hope have we? The lack of knowledge of the business area he has now entered into is embarrassing, and simply has to be largely the reason for all of the incorrect advertising. (this planet has been live now for months btw, 'doublethink' or not, no where on the website have I ever seen anything about alpha, beta or any other 'testing' stage only for the public who have been encouraged to sign up and download and play an apparently fully operational game with time travel from the beginning) 2. Transparancy will become a part of this forum and the NI website, as in who is who, who is the NI 'Live Team', who has what position there and on this forum etc, and a community manager is appointed and clearly identified as such. 3. The current employees or volunteers who post here and blog and tweet and facebook and PR all over etc, also become educated in the industry, understand the diffrence between having fun on a test server and being a customer on a incompleted live server, and shows respect for those people (a screenshot contest with prizes for the top three places for AG when apparently there is only one player there at this point? Slap us a bit harder next time, seems some like that.) Sorry, I did not intend this thread to be a bitch fest, I truly only wanted it to be a notification to the residents here that all the junk I have saved up over the months was going if anyone wanted it. But thank you for those who understand where I'm at right now, and I do hope it all improves over time. BTW you are very welcome for whatever I did ingame to help noobs or on this forum, it was the right thing to do at the time.
I'm sorry to see you go Lee, but i guess i can't really blame you. The hopes of most have diminished as time goes by, and after hearing Kitten's first report about Greece i was on the verge too. To put it simply, seems it's Mr. Post's responce, or lack of, that will determine the future of his planet. He might only be taking a small percentage of our decay since most of us were born on Calypso, but the presence of experienced players happy about the planet is what really sets the tone and keeps the newcomers immersed and invested.
Sorry to see you go Lee, you where so excited at first. I admit my excitement is starting to diminish swell but five things will keep me here; 1)My shop is an expensive thing to abandon 2)I will never spend decay on a SEE owned world 3)The Calypso based members of The Guild branched off and created their own soc 4)The casual atmosphere 5)The new players who started back in January/Dec. are really enjoying the place. I'm trying to see NI the way they do. They haven't seen high MU item loots like we have on Calypso. They haven't seen the economy that we saw on Calypso. By the way Manny, it appears that the PP/MA split doesn't matter what planet you started on if you started before RT was available. Since we didn't have a choice as to where to start our decay is 50% to the planet we spend it on.
it's interesting to find that I agree with all the points you've made, lee. in particular, I was appalled to read about the ancient greece screenshot contest. I was wondering if I was looking at the same game as the originator of that thread. I completely understand how you feel. although, my being somewhat stubborn and slow will likely result in my remaining on the ship even after it's scuttled.
