Unless I'm missing something, it doesn't seem terrible. OK 10% ROI is skating pretty close to RL fully regulated investments (especially if you take into account access and withdrawal/currency transfer fees/conversion rates. But they are at least allowing you to spend PED, and there is no requirement that all the shares get sold by the sounds of things. Presumably they'll be tradable immediately too?

I'm a little confused as to why a new system to support this rather than the established deeds but ho hum MA might have their reasons. It amuses me that the share exchange was around when I started IIRC? Wasn't it a rather cool looking but non functional room at Hades? I wonder if there is "so much more still to come" as regards companies... I smell BIG Industries and that EP crafting guy er... what do they call that "company" again?

On the other hand this may be the end of it and it will never be used again. Heck, at least it isn't compets or more crypto bollocks.

Might grab some with my CLD revenue... I don't think it's worth buying more CLD with that income, not at today's silly inflated prices. What is the ROI on CLD these days if you got them at market rate? Presumably pretty poor?

PPS Caves? Did someone say Caves? What Caves? Where? and can I go there? or will I instantly die?

 

Those are permainstances containing six Aurli-like mobs named along the lines of Brood of X.

To gain access, you need to kill 6600 (100+500+1000+5000) Aurli.

The above is one of the drivers of traffic to CP but it won't last forever. (apart from rare items now and then, Aurli have crap MU these days)

At first to all colonist :
The relog bug and come back outside of the dome in space is still not in the pipeline to be fixed.
No bug report was done by Darkaruki because he doesnt have the level to hunt mobs there.
This is a known issue since 2004 reported thousands of times but no patch is schedulled in a near future.

Mindark plans to "re-adjust" (translated by dramatically increase) the health and stamina regeneration to increase the cost to kill for the 14th time since Crystal Palace is existing.
The loot return will not give anything better.
Loot distribution is shrapnel or under 101% market stakables, so you can tt all loot you get !
Grind in speculation purpose is a fail already.
But if you are swedish (or canadian working in sweden) you may "luckily" find rare extremly valuable unlimited items.
We at mindark can not control the loot, everybody knowes this !

* "Caves not inculded" : The cave door is located at Crystal Palace but the instance is from Calypso owned by Mindark. Added to this the biggest money return is made by the caves, so you were not expecting to get revenues from those are you nuts ? ! LOL.

Btw, you may encounter misses in a row "lag" and lost connections, but those are not mindark features and have never been neither in Project Entropia times. Call and accuse your Internet Service Provider !

The cherry on the cake, 5% from the whole return will be discreetly substracted from the total revenue, even we did not buy a single share (corresponding to 25 000 shares not owned x 10ped),
but this is not a hidden scam or dishonnest feature (this is not our style at MA, picture it or it did not happen !).

100% bought / 95% returned : honnest inst' it !

I don't think I ever killed even 5k puny's let alone hate my life enough to want to spend it killing nearly 7k or something I couldn't kill anyhow I expect. Ah well... I stick to the little Saba Cave or waiting for ubers to run through the one I found... or maybe the Argo one I found that wasn't too bad.... we need underwater caves.

 

There is one, called "Tidewater Cavern" located on the island northwest/outside off the tip of Halfmoon Bay. It's somewhat claustrophobic but also atmospheric if you like virtual spelunking. It has a nasty insect and an underwater creature. When preparing to tackle them, factor in that you will get swarmed quite a bit and take multiple hits.

Because there are "0" shares available.

The info text about Crystal Palace also dissapeared...I bet they work to rush it out, as too many people asked for "Can I sell the shares"

 

They changed the counter...added 500k shares....but the transaction fails...

 

Are we able to sell back the shares ?

Or we need to wait for another NPC who will tell us we're fucked because they sell at 20% ? ( remember compets )

They dont want to answer...but as there is no "Sell" button...the guess is yours. ;)

 

Still not possible to buy shares after the server restart.
