Hahah! He went where Jot went, trying to pull the drug card in an attempt to bully and rally popular support. Yeah Laudanum is a drug. Names arent all serious or poorly spelled. Sometimes they reference clever and advanced concepts like irony and require critical thinking skills beyond the 2nd grade level.

You know, like... Hi, we sit in front of a computer not moving and staring at the same spot for 4+ hours at a time... like a bunch of dope addicts. Most of us name our guilds tough things like "Daredevils" or "Superstars." Why? Youre sitting on your collective behinds doing nothing with yourselves.

I named my guild Laudanum. Why? Because its ironic and it speaks the truth about gaming on many levels. Laudanum is latin for We Praise. It was named this by Paracelsus, who discovering the substance declared it to be a miracle elixir. Yet it turned out to be a highly addictive sedative.

Kindof like the internet. It was praised as the information superhighway. The dawning of a new age of man and productivity. Yet what do people do on it? Watch porn, escape from doing work at the office, and play MMORPG's for most of the day, every day, for years on end.

Score two for human laziness, and zero for miracles and new ages.

Oh and getting back to the topics at hand (click his little arrow to actually see what the topic was supposed to be about before his fragile pride was so fiendishly injured!) -- why on earth would you allude to being talked down to if you cant actually prove it? Imagine if everyone went around doing this. We would all be pointing fingers acting like 2nd graders, nothing would get done, and the world would be on the brink of warfare. We would be...

... ahhh shit, we do this!

But really, if youre unwilling to say what it is that somebody did, dont say that they did something. Its not noble to offer an accusation but withhold the evidence. Its petty. And its stupid. Really.
