Sony has been quite vocal about their support for 3D gaming, the next big technological push that has so far been the buzzword of 2010, and in June, the company will release a firmware update for the PlayStation 3 that will enable 3D support for games. Sony also plans to release its new HX803 series Bravia 3D TV the same month.

Just in case you might have thought these two events weren’t connected, Sony has also revealed that it will be giving away a four-game collection to anyone who buys a new 3D Bravia set during this big promotional push. The collection includes WipEout HD, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Pain and Super Stardust HD.

“Sony is a clear leader in all aspects of 3D and this great promotion allows us to bring together the technological leadership of Sony’s 3D TVs with stunning 3D stereoscopic gaming. Only Sony can deliver this breadth of 3D entertainment,” said Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president Andrew House in an official statement.

Currently, this promotion is only happening in Europe, but I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be making its away stateside around the same time. I’m waiting to hear back from Sony about it, so I’ll keep you posted.

    Interesting.

The article didn't mention if you need 3d glasses to watch these tv's. If they don't need glasses that's a pretty good tv
