My guess is that you end up on the planet that you're nearest to; or the spacestation that you're nearest to (can't remember if they have revive points). If you have stackables they can be looted, so I left mine on Calypso before I went to Arkadia. Now I'm a bit stranded at time of posting as I don't have a thruster that I can put on my vtol - and they're going for 300+ peds on average in the auction
It won't be the planet that is nearest, that way they would lose their 7PED :). Thrusters do seem expensive for what they are, however there is a chance the price will fall in the next few weeks. Just need people to make more of them than there is a demand for :). It happened with vehicles.
Good point, I guess my guess was a bad one . Then, if you're near to the planet that you just left, you must end up at the spacestation for that planet... Big problem with that is that whoever killed you can loot the pilot's welding wire which you now need to repair any vehicle.
I think that's the idea behind the welding wire :). Quite evil of MA to come up with that one! However It does mean business for those prepared to take the risk! It should also put the price of the wire up.
Yes, I think it will def' put the price of welding wire up, and increase the number of welding wire resellers/traders
