Remember the old days? Remember the chaos? Remember the banter? Remember the healers? Remember the slayers? Remember dying, continually? Seems there is none of that any more, talk about organised. No running around trying to avoid being hit, no one spoke while I was there except to offer a price for sweat, no one was healing, when this one was dry someone just tagged it with an opalo and walked toward the turret and only one person died in five minutes! It was a bit of a shock.
I certainly remember the old days at Nea's - nearly two years since I last sweated there. Back then you didn't have to ping the ambu's, they just had a habit of running for the gun tower whenever sweaters were getting too much too quickly. On a different note, I've often wondered, both back then and now, if those at Nea's are effectively 'sweating cooperatives', because I remember having always seen the same avatar circles on numerous occasions.
Circles like that have existed as long as i remember (oh god its been almost 5 years!), but nowadays it seems to be the most popular form of sweating, perhaps due to the new sweating system. It's definetely effective and easy
I guess it comes down to how long ago I was doing this, probably VU 8, people did work in groups but not as neat as that, maybe in the old days (when it was all mystical and no device was required) the range was greater! I certainly remember there being much more mayhem :). Often two or three people standing by the revive so that they could heal all the people coming through as well as healers out with the group trying to keep them alive. Just watching was entertainment :). Karl and myself used to play a version of cricket based on how many bottles you could get before being killed. Like the new avatar image Anna :).
"....version of cricket..." LOL! I remember joining-in with the biggest circle as that way there was less chance of me being sent to the revive. Downside was that the din was so intense if my spkrs were turned up that I would start going numb in the head :).
