    Just wondering, since this update I have noticed slower performance on my iPad mini, and recently I have been getting this: image.jpg Any ideas?

    Dont know about your ipad, but that error message is something we are aware of and seems to be caused by lack of space on our server. We have removed some stuff, which seems to help, but pretty soon it is back again and the people here don't really know whats going on. We'll be looking at it when Peter is back from his xmas holliday. It does seem to effect just the front page and you can still access the forum.

    Seems Peter has removed some old and unused stuff which cleared some space. We will have to put some other stuff back again, but there is progress :)

    Hi,
    Some are aware that I run a forum with two others which has been let go for some time.
    Peter was commissioned to put the site together for me - www.mmogamingnetwork.com (or .net both work)
    I am not sure if it is hosted on the same server as EntropiaPlanets, however the good news is ....
    I am back onboard with looking after it and have just deleted over 2,000 (almost 3,000) threads as perma deletions (Not hidden deletes with reason) which will definitely free up disk space.
    These threads are unfortunately spam threads.
    I am currently researching out what to do with the forum.
    It may go to a different platform than Xenoforum, even though I own a licence for Xeno.
    It may be that new members need to be approved before posting and their first few posts approved before appearing.

    At this point in time, I am rather pissed at its current state and will do my best to bring it up to date by the new year (Jan-2014 sometime) with a fresh start ready for Everquest Next & Elder Scrolls Online amongst others such as RIFT which is being maintained etc.

    Anyway long story short, if it is co-located with EP, there should be a fair few MB free space now.

    Not hosted on one server with EP. And reading about your spam issues and the requirements in the forum upgrade thread on the site I'd say XenForo is what you are looking for, I don't think there's a competitor doing it better. It just needs some adjustments on the admin backend and you should be fine. In case you need help just call.

    Yep looking at that same thread, it seems that all your point there are pretty straight forward and even I can do them, after a little looking around at the backend of the software.

    You seem to have a lot of issues with 'users' spamming their personal information with links and stuff, I recommend at this time to change the CAPTCHA to questions instead of just typing text from an images, that seemed to have worked for us.

    That, and putting in place several spam-filtering mechanisms that keep out a lotg of spammers before they even get a chance to post.
