Finally got the new PC working, been playing in full screen mode. My monitor now limits the resolution. Still don't seem to be able to capture swirlies, I may just be too slow! Anyway, first one on the new machine, took about three days! Not sure if I will stick with the PNG format seems like overkill but I will need it for the pictures for Burgerman's GPU quality thread.
Thanks Burgerman, The card can do more than the screen permits. All the game settings are at max and I'm getting a frame rate of just below 50 most of the time and the PC is just ticking over doing it :). The playing experience has certainly improved for me.
