They walk amongst us...

These are the facts:

• I saw Acronoid's thread on PCF
• I read all the posts
• far too many were making speculations and saying things that just weren't true
• I was an "Official" of a PP, and I have my own copy of the "Official Avatar Guide"
• I sent a PM to Acronoid here to see if the thread could be duplicated
• My purpose was to set the record straight with "truth" not speculation
• My purpose was NOT to spin a story, but to share what I was privileged to know
• If you read the intro at the top of the front page story it gives credit to Acronoid
• My content was just a post (# 5) until the staff turned it into a front page article

People in this community want to know what the truth is, they want answers, and I happen to have enough "from the horses mouth" and "behind the scenes" information to give it to them, not to mention that I lived on the inside for a year as part of a PP staff.

So you tell me, what is the harm in sharing the truth about the topic of this discussion, and why all of a sudden are you being a total ass to me when in the past you were friendly.

Acronoid and I are friends for many years, and a special person, and I asked if a duplicate of the thread could be posted here, and what I shared is absolute truth and no twisting anything from anywhere. Too many people at PCF were posting things that had no truth or even a spark of substance in speculation, so ... in my wanting to reveal the truth to be helpful, I did.

There is absolutely no reason for you to be rude about this whatsoever.

 

See, that's what happens when people are totally uninformed and make assumptions about the actions of others. You have no clue why I resigned from the Cyrene Writing Team, none whatsoever, yet you write as though it didn't matter what my personal reasons were, nor what prompted the resignation.

Out of respect for Ed, Kris, and the entire Cyrene Team that I absolutely love and keep in contact with, it wasn't anyone else's business in the community for me to put the variables out in public to toss around in whatever twisted format that some do for their own amusement. The only people who needed to understand what the dynamics were with my official position with Cyrene was Ed and I, and we did not close the door.

There's so much this community doesn't know (facts), and they take liberty to destroy things they know nothing about, so yes ... sometimes it's just trolling that some people do for whatever justification they can conjure up to rock the boat, and all it does is hurt people

As far as EU being a great game today ... every person is going to make of it what they will, and we aren't just talking about how it was in the past ... the past is being preserved by some of us because it was a whole different game then that had heart and spirit, BUT ...

We also discuss here the issues that the game has been historically stumbling over at the hands of the developers who have strayed far from the vision and potential this game had. There are some of us who are and have been very close to the development environment, and know first-hand what the challenges are, and what PPs have to endure to move forward with THEIR vision.

I have my adventures with Obie now and then when we're inclined to get into the game, but I have said over and over that it's not all bad. However, I know far too much from the core of this game that gave me an incredibly clear vision, and just how blinded so many are to what is happening behind the scenes, and at times it literally just makes me sick for the players.

Just do some critical thinking about the facts as they have presented themselves, and how our universe has been delivered to us time and again with such incompetence. It's all about the next big thing, and how they can lure people in, only to discover the real truth. There's no cohesiveness, storylines are all but a thing of the past because it's all so fragmented and disjointed. The dynamics of the professions are still there, but the heart and the true spirit of our universe is gone. Not because of the people, but because of incredibly poor management decisions by those who have lost the vision.

With regard to PCF ... it irritated me when people would rudely attack my posts, and if you take the time to read my posts, they are all constructively written, but there are those who take pleasure in trying to rattle my cage, even though my responses are always constructive, or as someone once said ... wait for her politically-correct response ... but I don't appreciate people trolling just to troll and having something to say. I appreciate constructive and civil discussion.

That rarely happens at PCF anymore, and many have left because the moderation is not only heavy-handed, but incredibly unfair. They would remove my constructive response to someone being rude, but leave rude remarks in a post toward me without my constructive reply. I may not have been the most perfect Moderator at the original Entropia Forum 2006 and 2007 (at the request of MindBuster), but when I resigned, many posted how much they appreciated my efforts, and both MindBuster and 711 said I could come back. Well, there's a lot of water that has crossed over that bridge, and that's not going to happen. There's more to say about PCF and the new EF, but I'll leave that alone for now.

After 8-1/2+ years of knowledge-gathering at a level that most don't get to witness or become a part of, it gave me a very clear picture of what the lay of the land is, and who benefits, and who doesn't, and why. I am no longer delusional about this game nor its developers, and I will share only "truth" as I know it first-hand. If that is something that some don't want to know or can't accept, or turn a blind eye to, then make a choice not to read anything I write.

There's no need to be rude to me ... talk to me ... it's really easy.

 

I think they knew that if they let me even CLOSE to that kinda stuff, I would have had my own Normandy Beach Invasion and tore sh*t up across the beaches of Eudoria, OR ... maybe if I was able to play with some of the Mechs that are coming on Cyrene one of these decades, the Zeks and I could have had a blast. I'm dangerous with prototypes, so they were smart to keep me away from them.

PS ... I never would have made it to Rome.
