With this week’s content release, our auction listings shot up to seven pages, several times what they’d been the day before. This is a real foundation for Next Island’s economy! There are currently 11 pages of listings, and 6 of those are materials for crafting. I’m so pleased to see many players interacting with the missions, and then with the new crafting blueprints. Developing for Entropia’s real cash economy means allowing players to create their own smaller objectives on the way to the overall end objective of becoming a Ped millionaire. So right now, players are gathering and selling quest items and craftable loot, and then there are players selling the finished products, like the Athenian Tunic. Next up, some players could craft huge stacks of Miranda Violet and Kylon’s Blue paint or bring in large amounts of paint from other planets, to use with the Elysian Colorator and the new clothes… Continue reading...
