Friends will enhance your gameplay tenfold, sharing is caring

 

Listen to your local mentor/guide =)

 

- do not accept team requests while hunting

- if you Join team request ALWAYS check the team settings

- if you are not sure about something, ask players around you or a good friend

- find friends and add them to your friendlist

- ask before you add someone to your friendlist

- dont trade ppl without asking if its ok

- dont beg

- dont try every proffession at start, stick to one first

- when starting crafting be prepared to invest a bunch of ped

- dont buy equipment that you dont really need (yet), pixie and opalo serve well for a long time, keep your money for ammo

- before buying something you get offered for a "very nice price" ask someone if the deal is really good

- try to loot your armours yourself, its fun, its a mission and you wont waste peds for markup

- do the missions which give (a small) reward

- dont be too suspicious, many ppl help newbies. if someone gives you something for free, offers a tp run or free ride - go for it. just dont give them anything :)

- dont use buyout in auction, be patient and safe a lot of peds

My tip

L & G on your keyboard are your friend. Use them to map & edit your weppons & items to your keyboard the way you want it.

(You have no idea how long I was using right click for everything before I was told that & sweating like that as a noob sucks)

to do a screen shot in windows pc for game or other aplications press the prt scrn sys rq button next to the f12 button and open ms.paint then select edit and paste into a new file then save as select the jpg format and hope that helps . View attachment 422

 

I dunno if this is already in the list but: Check condition limit so that you don´t buy broken Limited items from auction.

 

It's an old thread, but a good hint is always useful.

I would add:
"Sightseeing can be fun. You never know what you can find just walking around."

I'm a newbie but I found out while reading many guides that quite often even experienced players don't know/forget about it.

 

how about these ones?

What goes around comes around. (Otherwise treat others how you want to be treated)
Help the newbies and maybe they will help you one day.
Remember what its like to be new.
Its a game. Don`t ruin your life over it. (e.g. overspending)
Its like a casino, the house is in favor, in the end you will likely be at a loss.
When sweating dont AFK and please stand in a circle.
Thank people when they help you, it will make them feel like helping again.
Sometimes people make mistakes.
If you dont like something the group is doing dont get angry. Walk away.
Dont spend all your money. Keep it a hobby.
Help others. Not only will they be happier, you`ll also feel better about yourself.
Don`t let people use you because some will.
Don`t jump off high objects... It hurts.
If any vehicles get stuck use the ``recall all vehicles`` button in action library.
If stuck on a quest support might just help, or ask others as most are willing to help.
Dont click ``next vehicle seat`` while flying... you will no longer be controlling it... Lol
Remember PEDS are real money... Dont waste it.
Don`t sell you hard earned sweat cheap look for a fair price.
Beware of the scammers... they are out there.
Dont exit Entropia while flying.... you will crash.
Add ``auto use tool`` to your hotkeys.... especially great for sweating and hunting.
Dont waste ammo... it isnt cheap.
If your stuck then press ``t`` to go to nearest revival.
Dont try killing things beyond your level you will just waste your PEDS on ammo and repairs.
When flying avoid trees.
Use Time option (U) to find out server time and session time.
Press (P) for your current location including Cords.
If game is laggy try reduceing graphics in options menu.
Dont expect to get rich in this game... most dont even break even.
This game is huge... dont try to do everything at once.
Take your time and have fun.
Quite often you can get more money trading an item then selling to the Trade Terminal.
