Just wanted to post an update for the Trade Fair coming up tonight (01:00 EUT). Our society leader is in talks to get one or more Calypso Traders to attend the event, with an intent to purchase materials. As a cautionary note, Traders will typically buy at lower mark up (to recoup their expenses for traveling to Next Island). For those having difficulty selling items, this may be an opportunity to sell things at higher than trade terminal prices, however less than usual mark-up for that week. Just know your options. To Sellers: It is up to you if you want to agree or not, so just be educated and get up front what the reduced mark up rate is for that particular Trader. To Buyers (and Traders): Keep in mind that part of the original intent of this fair is to offer buying items at that particular week's mark-up (MU) rate. If you choose to offer a lesser rate, it is really between you and the seller.
