Entropia Support News: Virtual Tycoon is now compatible with Entropia Pocket and Gold Cards

I cant SEE "Virtual Tycoon" on googles playstore anymore ?

 

hmm maybe it is just updatable for those who already have it installed.

 

There havent been any updates recently anyway...and I can log into the APK I gave you just fine and use it.

 

Well I managed to get my old phone to boot. Might have a play and see if it works. Indeed it still has virtual tycoon on (will try and get the apk on a newer phone too - thanks!)

 

I still have it installed and it works. I occasionally use it to check auction sales when not sitting at the desk. Its usability for crafting was always limited due to the inability to purchase TT materials through it -- enhancers, mining amps, EP and now the entire ArMatrix range. Out of these, only EP are actually controversial. I dislike making predictions but find it not plausible to pull an at least partially working application if a successor was in development. Or maybe it is. It's a little confusing.

 

It might be one of these:

a) dealing with support queries for it was too costly on support staff time
b) paying to keep it in the store was too costly for the amount of new downloads
c) some new standard (security maybe?) on apps in the store was enforced by google. MA didn't want to or couldn't adapt the app to meet the standard so it had to go.
d) MA are about to change something that will nerf it into disfunction
e) MA found a security flaw themselves

Just some ideas.
