Virtual Tycoon on Windows

    Virtual Tycoon is the Entropia Universe App for Android.

    But to run it you don't necessarily need a smartphone with the Android OS. Using an emulator you can run it on Windows too.

    To do so please follow this guide:

    1. Download the zip file attached to this post

    2. Extract the zip file to you local harddisk.

    3. A folder named "Entropa Planets BlueStacks Virtual Tycoon Package" containing 3 files, will be created.

    4. Install BlueStacks by clicking the file named "BlueStacks-SplitInstaller_native_0.7.7.813.exe" in the folder.

    5. When the BlueStacks installation is completed right-click the other file in the folder named "com.mindark.eu.virtualtycoon_2.apk" and choose "Open with BlueStacks APK Installer".

    6. When the install is completed click the Virtual Tycoon icon in BlueStacks (Home -> MyApps).

    7. Please report whether it works for you or if you experience any difficulties.

    Should work with the Virtual Tycoon file in the zip attached to the post above.

    Looks like you can still access the Monria systems via Virtual Tycoon.

    (No cheap auctions ending in the near future - don't go looking.)

    Aside from satisfying curiosity what's the purpose of running Tycoon on a PC? I mean, for me at least Tycoon is a great way of clicking thousands of clicks at night/work at a fraction of electricity cost and completely quietly (I have a loud PC :) )

    Logging onto monria when the servers are down to look at auction.
    Crafting anonymously when you don't want to talk to people.
    Access to the game when you are on a connection with blocked FTP ports. (the pc client requires a ftp connection)
    Quick check of skills or profession levels without logging into the game.
    etc...
