  1. Hey everyone, I dont know if anyone has a hanger on here but im interested in renting one. If your interested let me know.

  2. I'm not sure you can do that anymore. Heard they changed that so only the Hangar owner can run it. Might be wrong though.

    (Btw, I don't have one...) :D

  3. Im not sure but im still interested if it is possible. I ultimately want to buy one but they are so expensive atm. So renting would be nice.

You can leave "atm" out. Prices won't ever go down. In fact, due to that new planets might be added, those prices will fly up high much like the spaceships inside 8)

  5. Maybe. If MA are expanding in to space in a big way they might change the way space travel works or make it more accessible to more people. I'm sure they'll find a way to screw all the current hangar owners... they seem to be doing a good job with other stuff atm ;-)

  6. ya well eventually ill HOF ATH or just br broke enough to buy a hanger ... wait ... nevermind any way as far as i know "renting" a hanger is still done but it take trust because the owner has to fork over a deed the renter had to claim the hanger and the renter then returns the deed. You can see where trust comes in. I dont understand why MA diddnt let you extract a rental deed to be able to rent out the hanger. it cant be that hard. its like a resource deed - expires after x amount of time. the only difference is that the owner couldnt use the hanger durring that time.

MINDARK IF YOUR READING THIS, THIS IS A GOOD IDEA, PLEASE DO THIS!!!!!

    RENTABLE HANGERS!!!

Sorry had to. Anyway my offer still stands i would like to rent a hanger. it doesnt have to be soon so if ya want to get to know me for a while then thats fine. Just let me know.

  7. In fact, renting out of any estate deed would be a nice idea. In fact, rental of equipment would also be a nice idea... :-)

  9. Yes - this would be an actual useful thing that the banks could provide?

  10. BANKS!!!

I diddnt even think about that!!! But the problem is that it has to be so that there are not many more hangers or it becomes not worth it because the profit margin goes down. But then again profit margins should go down anyway. The majority of the problem is that it is too expensive to get up and down from CND. And on top of that the shipping fee for selling and buying up there is rediculous. So people go up there and mine or hunt then mostly just TT it. Mindark would actually make more money if they just killed the shipping fee and let the auction work. Then people would sell their products from CND on auction, mindark not only then makes the auction fee but they dont have to buy back the resources. And that means that more of them will get eaten up in the crafting system. But at the same time People would go to CND and pilots would make more trips and caould make it more affordable since they are doing more volume. Its amazin at what removing a shipping fee would really do for the game. I think it would bring CND to life. Neverdie should fight that fee.

Sorry I kind of ranted there but im on CND atm and waiting to find a merchant buying resources is a drag. As well as waiting for a flight to fill up. BORING.

  11. Or maybe they should have a storage transport system on CND and CP? Somewhere you can place your items for transportation to the storage system on the planet. A small fee would probably be reasonable for the service.

This could be extended to other planets if/when they happen, with the fee increasing as the distance the items have to travel increases. They could even add a delay where it takes a number of days or hours for items to arrive in the storage system.

And then further still, they could allow you to send stuff to other people using the same system. The Entropia Postal Service :-)

  12. A postal system is an interesting idea. Problem with that is that it would take away cause out of game interaction to go up. An example of this.

Player A wants to buy item X. The options are use Auction (Large Selection, small fee, convienient) , go to shops/mall and search for the item manually (tedious but good prices can be found mostly, small fee to the land owner) or use the web and see if someone is hawking something in game.

Now the first two are mindark sponsored as they make money off the deal of the land owner does. the third is not sponsored and difficult because the person selling the item on the web has to be online the same time you are to complete the transaction.

If a postal service was implemented into the game then the third option would become more viable and widely used since there are no fees (minus what the postal fee would bee). They could build a website (CHEAP) and use paypal or another type to accept money and ingame post the item to the player. (kind of like online shopping.)

I think that because of this the postal service will never exist in EU. I could be wrong but thats my opinion.

Wow i am very opinionated today. Must be my lack of sleep as i was mining all last night.

  13. If the fees for posting were similar to the auction I don't see why it'd make any difference to MA. Anyway, I was plucking ideas out of thing air... I don't see that one actually happening :-)

In game offline messaging however would be useful... ;-)
