We get knocked down... but we get up again...

    It's unfortunate that in this world there are those in society that have never created anything of merit, don't contribute to society, but worse feel that it is necessary to thwart and destroy the efforts of those that do.

    To those I say, "Your existence is your punishment, you will never find happiness because your life will be wasted".

    The EU-Chronicle server was attacked several days ago by script kiddies (I will not use the word hackers to describe them, as that title is far from what they are), who saw fit to exploit a weakness in the setup and bring down the server.

    The server is now rebuilt, and is better and stronger than before. I hope this serves to identify the futility of their actions, as my English pride calls them to observe the history of my people and how infrequently we have been thwarted, disillusioned or otherwise defeated.

    So, in the memorable words of a forgettable song: "We get knocked down, but we get up again, you ain't ever gonna keep us down"

    Wonderful work Phunk! The forum certainly has a feel of strength running through it now. May this newfound strength make this forum even greater than what it already was. :)

    PS. So some people from our societies caused this... How detestable of them... Curse them forever! :mad:

    On first reading Phunksta's comment I too thought that was what he meant but I believe he meant SOCIETY in general not any society represented on the Chronicle.

    What it took to rebuild the server requires a Hell of a lot more talent and dedication than what it took to bring it down.

    We all benefit greatly in so many ways, from your actions and support of this forum.
