ah nice. Always rather liked those guys... I think cause I have happy memories of 2 to 3 shot jestering them and always getting 5 to 6 pec or occasionally more back. Doesn't look like too much departure from current design either which is good. As I was saying elsewhere, I suspect a lot of it is going to be about filling in the details.
Seems we now have a good idea of what to expect with EU's UE5 upgrade in terms of the terrain and some of the creatures. I suppose the big Q on everyone's mind is which year this will happen.
Is it me... or are they not looking quite as "evil vagina" as the current ones and previous concept art? [Can't take credit for that description]
Yeah they're def slightly different, less 0 shaped with needle teeth on the edge, but more pincer-like.
Ah the Amiga 500 days! Had one in mint condition from 89 with original box, floppy disks, manuals, but gave it to my nephew as a gift in late 90s. Few years later it wasn't in very good con.
While it's a fun joke. I do like that they are putting the effort into a single location. Sure lots to go (I'm sure in no rush for it to be done though - they can take 5 years for all I care), but I particularly like that there is thought around where the rocks hit the ground. They are not simply embedded objects but attention has been paid to the effect the object would have on the ground at its borders. It's looking decent. Wistrel
or they have one location as a test bed area developed and have done nothing new to it in 4 months but working on other things which they can't or choose not to show
Wow it's like they read my posts. Some real effort on the so called "emptyness" of the desert. It isn't. Just because something isn't full of trees it often tends to have scrub land, rocks, low vegetation etc etc. The other thing I talk of a lot is making objects that intersect the ground do so in a realistic manner. Not just vanish into it like a no clipping accident.
Not sure what you mean - what sort of news are you looking for? Above are pics from unreal engine development...
