As I mentioned in another post something is gonna happen tomorrow according to some intercepted messages from the robots:

They talk about a Hydra, so that makes me think about what that could be.

    Whats a Hyrdra:

So a Hydra is a multi headed dragon, so what will it be?? Multi headed robot or something else?

    How is it possible..
Nothing happens during my whole vacation. And when I plan doing something, they come up with this D:

  3. Attached Files:

  4. Manticore creates H-Day. Robots create Hydra. What a wierd symmetry! LOL

  5. A robotic hydra that can attack many players at once or one player with very much ouch at once... hmm... laser, rockets, acid, fire, every form of attack could be possible, but I don't care about this, I only want the loot. xD

  6. OK, the answer is:

It's a hopped up Warlock that can do at least 984 points of damage on a critical hit. (That's what #2 got me for on one of his swipes at me. LOL)

Interesting fun fact... those radiating structures above the shoulders wiggle when it runs! I don't believe this behavior had been cataloged before. I had presumed they were heat sinks, but those would likely be less flexible. *shrug*

Do any of you have any screenshots of the creature info screen, so we can see what changed from #1 to #9 and document this in the wiki?

  8. I was too busy screaming "Go, go go!" and "Oh, fuck, we're gonna die!" into Teamspeak to get any scans myself... and having a bit of fun with the mounted rocket launcher.. not that it would hit the hydra, but it looked good. LOL

I did notice something in a few frames of my original video. In addition to the wiggly red appendages, there's an electrical effect on forearms & wrists, presumably indicative of electrical attack. I'll see if I can get a couple of stills off the original to illustrate this.

Watching the Hydra from the shotgun seat on a Valk MkI gave me newfound appreciation for the amount of work that went into creating the Warlock model. Well done FPC!
