    Takes me back a bit. Remember the autoexec.bat file? Anything in there would be executed before anything else on bootup so was potentially very dangerous.

    yeh me and my sister used to play Settlers together. This required an extra mouse and high res that needed certain stuff loading at boot so we had a boot disk with menu's that loaded stuff up differently depending on what game you wanted to play. Some games needed CD stuff loading etc.

    Wistrel's mountain? I'm fairly certain now it's on Calypso but still haven't found it ;) There could be a clue though with 'And all the boards did shrink' - so maybe I should look for somewhere on the coast that has boards and see if there's any tall mountains nearby. Dunno.

    Is from "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner". Maybe a Bay somewhere & maybe a Church nearby

    (but I like that you thought of the church though - that would be super subtle however alas, not aware of any churches on Calypso)

    Well on the strength of what Louise Ranavolana Brooks said, I looked for a church in or near a bay for some time but couldn't find one, but I'm still determined to find this mountain so won't give up ;)
