Today i tried to update some wiki posts (some weapon stats), being a crafter i occasionally have a lot of spare time on my hands. I did some update of the p1a(l) and p2a(l), but i don't like that you can enter text everywhere. What i would really like (pretty please with sugar on top) is: Pull down menu's so i can choose what type of weapon it is Pull down menu for the source of the item, Only be able to put numeric values for max tt and min tt Only be able to numeric values for weight, damage, range uses, level requirements, Pull down menu for SIB If the above would be possible, the wiki would contain a lot more correct info (less chance of spelling errors, and more uniformity).
you are right Harmoney we would like that as well but that would take a lot of work to set up and customize the wiki big time. We are trying to keep the wiki as standard as possible so anyone can edit it. Sure that will mean people will need some skills to do so. We have been looking at a WYSIWYG editor for the wiki, but ran in some trouble with that as well. the pages you edited are pretty easy in setup and are not hard to understand how to edit them. Sure it leaves room for improvement and we will in the future, but for now it has to do. Oh and you can remove the <!--maximum TT value--> and the other things if you like they are just there to let people know what to fill in and do noting with the wiki code
Ok another wish then: When you click on the weapons you get a list of all the weapons in the wiki, and there is the possibility to sort the weapons on range or damage or whatever. It appears that the values i enter on the weapon page itself aren't displayed in this starter page. Is it possible to get the values in there so they can be sorted?
Mission tracker wish It would be nice to have some connection between the mission title and mark as finished. At the moment you have to count to the completed mission, the go to the right side of the page and count down to click the finished button. I made a mistake and clicked finished for Special mining challenge when I wanted to mark Belly as complete. Now I'll have to run around and get the global so the tracker will be accurate
Done I had the mission tracker on unfinished only so it was a bit confusing. Every time I log I head to Phoenix and pick up the mining mission so I'll complete it one of these days.
