Planet Arkadia Update 2011.3 (14th June 2011)
Important Note on the Underground Area
The underground area is not yet available, we strongly recommend not downloading it as there is no advantage to doing so prior to its release - you will still need to download the final content when it is released at a later date.
Issues Fixed
- If a blueprint uses only Arkadia EnMatter, EnMatter residue now works correctly to increase the resulting items TT value.
- Hydrogen gas / steam icon have been corrected (was a visual issue only - did not affect functionality)
- Fixed Description on Pegasus Armour to indicate that the next level after it is Perseus.
- Technician Terminal is once again named properly.
- Minor visual issues with some components (Magnets, Tension Strap, O Rings, Weld Filament) and other objects fixed.
- Minor terrain improvements around Celeste Harbour (boats should have an easier time moving through the waterways without taking damage).
- A few Carabok have been lured back to the Academies, the IFN are investigating why the Carabok do not like the Academies.
- Terrain under wharves in Sanctuary Cove now meets up with the wharf pylons.
Balancing Changes
- Creatures have become more aggressive and territorial, and will no longer sit around whilst potential threats line up the perfect shot.
- The following creatures have become more dangerous: Huon, Teladon, Kamaldon, Yuka.
- Bokol and Hadraada are now less dangerous.
- Changes to health on some Huon and Teladon maturities, and all Oweko maturities.
General Changes
- Creatures have been breeding a little more frequently.
- PTech has been tinkering with resource finders to reduce the emphasis they place on Lysterium and Oil resource deposit signatures.
- A few revival and manufacturing terminals have been added to Celeste Harbour.
- The Sergeant in the Training Grounds will speak to you if you return after you have completed his mission.
- The IFN and PTech representatives at the Academies will speak to you if you return after completing their missions.
- The Archaeological Society has sent representatives to each Firebase. They are to encourage people to visit their Headquarters.
Known Issues
- Some Creatures are still stumbling around and not moving quite as fast as they should be.
- Herman Industries ASI-10 sound effect upgrades have gone missing.
- Weapon sounds can vary from shot to shot on some weapons.
- When claiming your weapon from the weapon shelf you may have to interact with it twice if you have previously aborted the weapon collection mission.
- Archaeological society does not like people sitting on some of their chairs and sofas.
- Limited Blueprint Book cannot be coloured or textured.
- Achievements have no Icons.
- Some types of eyewear can appear outside or on top of the Armour Helmet.
- Skin from some face/head shapes can be seen when wearing Armour Helmet.
- Televators in buildings may link to the building next door in rare cases.
