Description

Labelled "The dirt-bag of the north", due to its horrid smell. These creatures were originally common in the far north of Eudoria. Early settlers exterminated the vile beasts, as it displayed a chilling preference for human flesh. Its tentacles have numerous razor-sharp hooks, that make a certain death once in its embrace.

This is one of the rare creatures where a higher maturity is less difficult. The providers and guardians are much tougher than their older dominant brothers and a guardian could even take out an alpha male if it so chooses.

Name explanation

Scaboreas - In Latin "scaber" means "scabby, rough". "Boreas" refers to "the north, the north wind". This is fully consistent with the creature's description, "The dirt-bag of the north".
