several internal errors there... Those are estates no one has owned yet I believe. I'm not sure if the shops owned by the Estate Broker on the same floor are actually participant owned yet or not, but suspect they are not as the entire floor of Gamma Building is not currently participant owned yet according to a support ticket reply and it has similar type stats.

It looks like the Estate Broker still has claim on most of floor 10. I wonder if he ever sold them via the auction and no one ever claimed them, or like a good number of estates, he still holds the deed to them tightly, artificially inflating prices on various estates by causing fake supply/demand issues, etc.?

Interestingly, Island Girl is listed on the estate terminal on one of these apartments. Island Girl was Neverdie's girlfriend that passed away many years ago. (Please note that according to Entropia Universe's Term of useYou acknowledge and agree that Your Entropia Universe Account will be deemed Inactive if it has not been logged into for a period of three hundred (300) consecutive days.

You further acknowledge and agree that Your Entropia Universe Account will be Terminated if it is not used for a period of seven hundred and fifty (750) consecutive days (i.e., 450 days after Your Account has been deemed Inactive).

You hereby explicitly consent that after the period of 750 days of inactivity Your Entropia Universe Account is deemed to have been abandoned by You. You also agree to assign MindArk and/or MindArk's Partner all rights in Your Terminated Entropia Universe Account according to the procedures established in this paragraph 5. You hereby discharge MindArk, any of MindArk's Partners and their respective officers, directors and employees, from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses to You arising out of, or relating to, Your Terminated Entropia Universe Account.

Recently, a Liquidation Avatar was created by Mindark to auction off assets of some avatars that were permanently banned from the game. I wonder how long it will take for them to get assets that avatars that have real world humans behind them that have passed away to give up the stuff and liquidate it? Of course, the existence of this info on estate terminal does not mean that the avatar listed really holds the deed to the place... Just that if some other avatar other than the one listed holds the deed, they have not claimed the estate yet.

Jon sometimes played as Tina, controlling her avatar in Entropia. Sometimes he let his son, then five years old, play as the avatar of the deceased mom. “Seeing her avatar was like seeing her,” Jacobs told me. That bit of role-playing didn’t last. It violated the rules every Entropia user had to digitally agree to before playing the game. Other gamers noticed, not all of them cheerfully. “Some of the players got upset, because, you know, there are haters in the forums and shit like that,” Jacobs told me from L.A. “There was a rule that there was only one avatar [per person], so basically I got asked not to log her avatar on.” Entropia Universe, now known as Planet Calypso was and is run by a Swedish company called MindArk. David Simmonds, one of top people there confirmed that incident to me over e-mail. “Jon (Neverdie) Jacobs is not a special case,” he wrote. “He must follow the rules as all account users must do.”
