PTech Mining Representative:' "Greetings, <name>
On behalf of PTech, Mining Excellence, I welcome you to the next and exciting stage of your life."
Answer: "Um, thanks..."

PTech Mining Representative:' "You're welcome!
I'm going to prepare you for exploring and mining the depths of Arkadia.
First you're going to need some equipment, then you can explore the wilds of Arkadia and search for resources."
Answer 1: What do I need?"
Answer 2: Sounds interesting, I might try it later."

PTech Mining Representative:' "Head to the Trade Terminal nearby or inside the Command Post and buy yourself a TerraMaster 1 (L), a Rock Ripper 1 (L)."
You'll also need some "Survey Probes", don't forget those!"
Answer 1: "Buy? With what?"
Answer 2: "What do I do once I have the tools?"

PTech Mining Representative:' "With Project Entropia Dollars (PED), which can be found on your PED card.
You can deposit funds to your PED card via the 'EU Transfer Centre' button in the top right. For more information, have a chat with the Economics guy back there, or see the Guide section of www.arkadiaforum.com.
Remember that everything you buy from the Trade Terminal can be sold back to the Trade Terminal for the same price, and that what you mine will also have a Trade Terminal value and a market value!"
Answer: "Alright, what do I do once I have the tools?"

PTech Mining Representative:' "Once you have the tools you need to equip the finder, select the resource(s) you wish to search for, and then operate the tool.
It will then carry out a survey attempt and inform you of any deposits found.
When a deposit is found, a claim marker appears in the world and on your map - move to it, equip your extractor, and operate the extractor to dig up the resources contained in the marker. If you then have problems try reasding the Guide section of www.planetarkadia.com, asking another player, or talking to the community at www.arkadiaforum.com."
Answer: "Ok, what do I need to find?"

PTech Mining Representative:' "PTech would like you to practice surveying.
Conduct 20 survey attemps, we recommend searching in the area outside the Academy - the cratures should not bother you unless provoked.
Good luck!"
Answer: "Ok"

Objective: Survey using any mining tool (20)

Drop 20 Survey Probes. The objective will be completed when you dropped the 20 probes.

Objective: Return to the PTech Mining Representative
