Description

Umbranoids are humanoid mutants which have attained a certain level of intellectual development and are therefore often seen with weapons such as whips, axes or even rifles. Specifically, the maturities Adept, Worker and Gatherer wield whips, while Patron, Thief, Rogue and Scavenger brandish axes. The upper maturities (Looter, Overseer and Clan Leader) use rifles, with which they can inflict ranged damage from a distance approximating that of the inner radar circle (about 50m).

Finally, elite maturities follow the same schematic and, most likely, their varying weapon types deal different kinds of damage according to the usual scheme of the weapon. This has yet to be determined conclusively, however.

Umbranoids are often seen wearing armor, most commonly thought to be looted from unfortunate colonists.
