Planet Arkadia Update 2012.3 (13th Mar 2012)
ALERT: Oratan have been seen carrying knives!
Arkadia Update 2012.3 brings you new mobs, new vehicles, new estates!
New Content
- Keen-eyed observers have reported a plump, purple presence with a prominent proboscis, roaming various areas of Sentosa. Called “Nusul” by IFN scientists, it may look cute but stay on guard!
- Colonists who arrived with or after Fleet Arkadia will by now be used to seeing Oratan carrying crossbows. In an intriguing development, some Oratan have now been noticed carrying knives as their primary weapon!

- A few versions of the Exploration Hoverpod have been developed for colonist use. They are Limited and Craftable, and their production utilises some previously unused Arkadian items.

- Apartments and shops have had a model update and are being prepared for sale.

General Changes
- The in-game map has been enhanced for more convenient use.

- Due to popular demand, Ky Fung was eventually commissioned to sort out the sun. After an epic voyage and a sword fight of nuclear proportions, the day/night cycle has been adjusted, and night time is now shorter.

- Terrain textures have been improved.
- As part of the recently released new colonist experience, further enhancements to the cave systems have been made.
Issues Fixed
- Armour values on the Exploration Hoverpod are now set correctly.
Important Note on the Underground Area
The underground area is not yet available, and we strongly recommend not downloading it. There is no advantage doing so prior to its release as you will still need to download the final content when it is released at a later date.
