Description
Rarely seen, the habits of this venomous beast are virtually unknown. Despite its ant-like appearance, it's most likely a remnant of a long extinct amphibian family. Its tough, leathery skin boasts phosphorescent patterns that indicate nocturnal habits. More research is needed for a proper classification.
Name explanation
Formicacida - "Formica" means "ant" in Latin. The last part is probably from "acidus": sharp , sour. They really look like ants. Incidentally "Formic acid" is also the acid know as Ant acid... see: Formic Acid
