Dear Entropia Universe Participant,

This is an information letter regarding your Entropia Universe Account.

In the beginning of 2009 Mindark will release an update that includes several improvements and changes in the areas of account management, account inactivity and fund transfers. As a result of these changes, we will update a few policies. These changes will be reflected in an updated End User License Agreement (EULA)*.


Account Inactivity and Account Termination

In order to improve and facilitate our account management, enable correct distribution of information, and reduce data base storage costs, we have decided to update our policy regarding Account Inactivity and Account Termination.

If your Entropia Universe account has not been used for 300 consecutive days it will be deemed inactive. Once tagged as inactive several reminders will be sent via e-mail to the e-mail address you have registered with the Account.

If you do NOT activate your inactive Entropia Universe Account within 450 days, your Account will be permanently terminated. The Account is purged and can no longer be reactivated. If you wish to participate in the Entropia Universe again, you will have to register a new Account.

The purge process includes the removal of all virtual items, skills and possible estate deeds from the terminated Account, which you no longer obtain the right to use.**

Any remaining PED value, meaning the Trade Terminal value of the Virtual Objects from the termination process, will be transferred onto your PED Card. If the PED Card value exceeds the minimum withdrawal limit of 1000 PED, you will have the right to withdraw these funds at any time by providing accurate bank information to the Entropia Universe Support Department.


How to Activate an Inactive Account

You may activate your inactive Entropia Universe Account by launching the Entropia Universe client and logging into the Entropia Universe. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, you may retrieve this information via the website.

If you have any problems with activating your Entropia Universe Account, please do not hesitate to contact Entropia Universe Support at entropia_support@mindark.com.


Account Management

For the purpose of improving our account management, the processing of real life item orders and fund transfers we have deemed it necessary to make self-registered information more accessible to you. Your registered name will therefore be displayed in “My Account” on the website and also before you confirm transactions that require an accurate name.

If you wish to add an extra security layer to protect your self-registered information, we highly recommend you to purchase a Gold Card. Read more about the Entropia Universe Security System


Website Purchase for Gold Cards

As from the upcoming VU, the Gold Card kit, Gold Cards and Gold Card readers will be purchased from the website. Your Entropia Universe Support Team
