Dr. Melinda Clark: "Hello and welcome to Calypso. I'm Dr Melinda Clark and I work for Imperial Zoological. I wonder ... could you help me with a few things?"
Answer: "Thanks, but no. Where do I get to Port Atlantis?"

Dr. Melinda Clark: "Oh, that's easy. Just use the teleporter. Are you sure you can't help me out? It'll be quick." Answer 1: "Sorry. I have to go."
Answer 2: "So what is it?"
Answer 3: "Thanks but no. I have other things to do."
Answer 4: "I'm new here. I don't know what I can do."

When selecting "Sorry. I have to go":

Dr. Melinda Clark: "It's an easy thing. I'm just looking for Fragments."
Answer: "Fragments?"

When selecting "Thanks but no...":

Dr. Melinda Clark: "Yes. Fragments are one of the factors of Calypso's rapid evolution. We know of two kinds of fragments, called Nova and Blazar. And they're not only useful for evolution, but they can also be used to enhance performance of equipment. They're biological essence, so you can easily get them from animals when you defeat them. Anyway, I'm studying these Fragments, so if you could get some for me to study, I'd be grateful. Say three Nova Fragments and one Blazar. Will you do this?
Answer 1: "Okay I'll do it."
Answer 2: "Thanks but no. I have other things to do."
Answer 3: "Sure, I'll help you."

When selecting "Okay I'll do it":

Objective: Gather Fragments from killed animals[edit]

Before you start killing animals it is recommended to register for the hunting missions (Understanding Hunting). So you can working on completing several missions at the same time.

Objective: 3 x Nova fragments[edit]

  • Go and find some creatures to kill

  • Recommended: Berycled Puny

  • The objective will be completed by looting 3 or more Nova Fragments


Objective: 1 x Blazar fragment[edit]

  • Go and find some creatures to kill

  • Recommended: Berycled Puny

  • The objective will be completed by looting 1 or more Blazar Fragments


Objective: Return to Dr Melinda Clark[edit]

  • Return to Dr. Melinda Clark at (69778, 69837, 224)

  • Part 6 of the dialogue with NPC Dr. Melinda Clark. "Hello. Did you get the Fragments?"

  • Part 7 of the dialogue with NPC Dr. Melinda Clark. "Yippie. I'll just scan them..."

Dr. Melinda Clark: "Yep. That's it. Ain't science grand? Here, let me transfer something to you. It's a crash course in computer use, biology and analysis. You may have some use for it out there on the frontier."
Answer: "Thanks. What about the Fragments?"

Dr. Melinda Clark: "Oh, you may keep them. I just needed to scan them"
Answer: "Oh. Thanks."

Completion[edit]

Reward is 1 point additional Intelligence, Analysis Skill, Biology Skill and Computer Skill. And you can keep the fragments as well.
