Also in a mission related to the volcano a Gen star communication was intercepted saying this:

Also in previous EBN broadcasts there have been hints of artificial objects causing tremors. The tremors caused the volcano to erupt, and this same volcano is what triggered a increased robot presence, Gen star had a interest in the area too.

So, as this is all we have to go on at this point, what does this tell us?

• Robots need and appear to be producing some chaotic element to break down biological psycho-dynamics ::Update:: they are messing with biological psycho dynamics to become smarter
• Genesis star are working on some Lacuna technology that has been tested on inmates of the penal asteroid, the results leave survivors violent and uncontrollable
• Gen star are trying to communicate with the robots
• The gen star communication appeared to be some covert operation
• Jamraders have reappeared for the first time since 2006
• The revival points have began to fail, this became apparent in a mission where someones relative had died because restreaming failed(Updated, not to do with robots)
• Lacuna Tech, the definition of Lacuna is rather interesting and kinda relevant, can be viewed here
• The name Mr Book is also a character in a film called dark city, it involves people with mind powers similar to mindforce, more info of the film can be viewed here

Hydra is the offspring of Typhon, therefore, it points toward the suspicions that Typhon left something behind that's been burrowing underground.

I feel the rest of it in this case just points toward the sheer power of whatever is coming.

I have been looking at the area, and theres a 70 meter across dip in the ground, as if theres been subsidence from drilling, the dip is almost parallel to the hades crater.

a.t.m. all evidence for me is pointing toward hydra came from Typhon and has been drilling here ever since.

I'm also beginning to think this could lead to a brand new updated part of the map.

Ok, so I've been thinking this all over and what it means. And I've come to another conclusion. From what i can see, the robots are experimenting in some form of biological engineering. Taking a organic approach to computing so they become immortal.

Now as we know Genesis Star are operating some form of human experimentation and communicating with the robots. From what i can see they can be up to two things.

A. Working to reduce the robot mindcloud so the robots die of stupidity. and developing some form of tech to fight this.

or alternatively, the slightly more interesting but devastating,

B. Its a covert operation, working with the robots to operate some human experimentation to further develop the organic approach to computing. Perhaps the robots have these people under mind control, or some other form of control.

Either way, the Lacuna Tech could be something for the robots instead of against. We know for a fact that the Genesis Star people don't want to be discovered

Either way, the text hydra came with to me suggests this isn't the last we have seen of hydra.

This has confirmed what the hydra scan info said, hydra is a robot experiment of organic computing to become immortal.

So the question is, why would a advanced robot unit be telling us vital intel to whats going on?

Well i feel what it is, the robots are deliberately sending hydra out to learn, and need us to be there so it fights us. Organic computing might mean it now learns much like humans do.

So perhaps each time hydra returns it will be bigger and better with more stats?

but most of all, a trial of the new technology that, if a success, could become a part of all robots.

Thats what previous evidence that I've seen suggests, and everyone else I've spoke to so far.

Well thats not going to happen, it'll be on a mission and will do anything to complete that.

But I've been thinking, the old generation of bots it's said that the more there are the more network latency there is, so in a way makes them stupid, what if we were to set it up so they somehow die of stupidity?

I mean killing them reduces their numbers, but leaving them alive lets them free to kill people, and even then the old generation bots will be overshadowed by the next generation tech thats in trial a.t.m.

There must be some kind of plan we can form to beat them at their own game...

I had another thought on Genesis Star and what they may be up to, as we know they have a connection with the empire of earth and such, and as we also know our plan to beat the robots is to steal robots tech, and re-engineer it to beat them.

As the robots are advancing on a far faster rate than we are.

So i think what gen star could be up to is developing some new weapon that can be used to stop the robots, possibly something to combat this next generation tech they are trialling now. And hacking into the robots mindcloud to steal vital info.

So, we had the second round of hydra, this time around it showed signs of evolving and becoming smarter, its regeneration speed improved as well as got more health making it much harder to kill. As well as that it had gained laser and electric attacks, and getting smarter and interchanging tactics. It's learning from its mistakes, and thinking much like we do.

The attack waves that came before and after it had also increased, as well as adding extra layers. After the hydra some Warrior Commander 010011's spawned, so theres signs of it possibly leading the attack and telling what bots to attack when and where.

Unfortunately due to a incident i won't mention here we didn't get the chance to find out if calypso's finest was able to kill it, so were going to have to wait to round three for that.

I suspect that in round three it will be much more powerful than before, maybe not increasing regeneration, but perhaps increasing run speed, so it can outrun vehicles, and we will be unable to outsmart it and turret it.

It is now evident that the robots are evolving this organic approach to computing and getting great results, this poses a great threat to humanity's future, i have to ask, why hasn't CDF or EBN made any statements on whats happening.

Putting Typhon and the apocalypse aside, this is the greatest threat Calypso and the empire of earth has faced...

So why hasn't any of the official government run services made any statements to whats going on?

Have they abandoned us?

Or are we truly doomed, and they don't want to admit that as it would cause universal panic?

Unfortunately only time will tell...

EBN News: New robot encryption cracked (August 21, 2010)

EBN News:
Intelligence work was thrown into disarray as the robots deployed a new encryption protocol. Thanks to intelligent code breakers, the new code was cracked and we now know that the robots will deploy their new Hydra robot at least twice.

However, CDF Intelligence Service is worried about that not all of the coded transmissions have been decoded.

“At least one coded transmission is still not decrypted” an analyst says. “Who knows what it contains? It can be a change of time, change of location, or even that the whole trial has been suspended because someone spilled coffee in the next Hydra unit.”

The encrypted transmission was sent on Friday at around 14:45 UTC, and contained the following codes:

Photographic Documentation from tonight’s killing of the new robot-type “Hydra”. This was the third in the series; The first was claimed by Art of War, the second had a run-in with our city defenses and the third were taken down today by Universe United.

The JamRaiders were allowed to silently scout the new area out, since no one had yet cracked the robot intercept about the new coordinates:


Some of Calypso’s finest were already on stand-by though, much thanks to the expert decoder Aia. When the EBN hit about the new coordinates, it did not take long until the area was filled with triggerhappy colonists, quickly killing off the waves of robots.

Further evidence showing the improved abilities of the new robot was witnessed today when robots deliberately mislead calypso's finest into waiting at the wrong location, a vital intercept wasn't decoded in time.

This allowed the Jamraders to silently scout out the area in question without any trouble.

The new location was clearly picked to increase chances of other creatures causing trouble for us, as Araneatrox Stalkers, Atrox old alpha and Berry Stalkers kept attacking us in what seemed to be waves.

What the robots didn't count for though, is the sudden increase of calypsians that came in from all directions waiting to kill hydra, and this time around was taken down without any trouble. Unfortunately the quick takedown means we have no way of knowing if hydra's abilities have improved this time around.

...

What comes to mind is a statement oleg made the other day, maybe the extra bots around it made it stronger, where i dont think that was the case, oddly enough yesterday there were many more bots around when hydra had impressive regen, and indeed wasnt taken down by our firepower.

If hydra does indeed learn from its mistakes i feel sunday 19:00 we may see another increasement of power.

Something i have noticed is hydra does seem to be taller every time i see it, whether thats just coincidence or theres something in that i dont know.

Atleast we won tonight, the question is, at what cost. I feel it's a mistake were giving it all we have. As we know it uses a new organic approach to computing to be smarter, so giving it all we have, will only make it smarter more powerfull and more deadly once these trials are over.

Atleast CDF is beginning to show themselves and showing us they are still there watching out backs, I just hope CDF and the imperial forces of the empire of earth have some kind of plan to strike back at the robots for everything they have done to us over the years.

Today RX Unit 471 returned to Twin peaks to talk to us, she is not a part of the robot invasion, and she won't state her purpose of being here, but this is what i have of the conversation so far:

So what have we learnt so far?

The RX has telling us how robot processing and sensory equipment works, it was describing how the robots work and how we only have perception of phisical space.

It was also saying this:

We also have confirmation that robots are a diffrent species than the RX units, but will not state why they are helping us, or what thier intentions are.

Now, this is whare the Genesis Star intel comes in,


As it says, they have reengineered the robots technology, and have indeed gained access to the virtuana memory space, aka phase space. So this tells us we have indeed gained access to phase space and Genesis star are infact figuring it out.

This Technology must be what the Lacuna Technology is, as it says, its too unstable, theres been casultys and evidently have driven people insane, to the point they are violent and uncontrollable.

Their being monitored by the robots and thats why they are being cautious about this, So this is big news.

Also in the post above ive posted some robot transmissions, it appears they are concerned about the fact the RX gave us this data...

RX Unit 471 Intelligence Report Aug 26 0:02

At todays Hydra Event the RX Unit turned up, and, well this is what happened,

First of all, the main reason for being there was to evaluate the hydra's evolution, she also quite happily shared information with us, now considering they before have been posed as a threat in PVP zones. This is a rather intresting development.

Weather they have never posed any harm and was misunderstood, or they have mixed motives its hard to tell.

This has proved my previous reports, the robots are experementing withthe warlock strain and improving them to be able to evolve naturally beyond original spec's.

This means they will become much much smarter and a bigger threat to us.

So that part of it has basically proved what ive said before.
Now the next part is rather intresting, it tells us more about the RX species

It turns out they are a mix of life forms evolving on a planet and life forms evolving in virtual space, now this still doesnt shead any light on thier origin.

But we do know they are a completely diffrent species to the robots, and they are self aware.

Now the next part, shows the RX units have a sense of humor, and are, in this case, friendly towards us.

But for the moment they are on neither side, thier relation with the robots is unclear, but for now, she continues to claim they are not part of the war.

Now this part returns to the Genesis Star lead, it was brought up in the RX's conversation with us

This is what was said at the start, this ofc shows that machine speak is obsolite so they now speak properly to whatever kind of entity it needs to communicate with, however at times she did return to machine speak
