UPDATE: As of June 2018 Crystalline Cavern has been removed from the game, the target practice mission is already done at Genesis Alpha Station and from there new players go directly to Calypso Gateway!

Crystalline Cavern[edit]
Crystalline Cavern is the first destination for new players of Planet Calypso (or Monria) after they leave Genesis and the one before Calypso Gateway.
It's a small area with just one mission for target practise.
Enter Crystalline Cavern by leaving Genesis Alpha Station through the purple portal

Target Practice[edit]
To start the Target Practice Mission approach Security Chief Harkow
As soon as you get close a dialogue window pops up, click "Okay." and you will receive a weapon and ammunition in a loot window
Right-clicking on the weapon and choosing "Item Info" gives you more information about the weapon
Clicking the 2nd button from the left ("Show Detailed Information") in the bottom aera of the Item Info window you can display the stats of the weapon
The 3rd button from the left ("Show Item Description") displays an infomative explanation on how to use weapons
Close both the Item Info window and the Loot window and click "I could really use a lesson." in the dialogue window
Follow the instructions in the dialogue window:
1. Press "I" on your keyboard to open the inventory.
2. Click the "Weapons" category (4th from above in the right menu bar of the Invetory window)
3. Right-click the weapon and left-click "Eqip" in the dropdown menu
The name of the weapon and the ammunition appears left of your health bar, click in the dialogue window to continue
Read the instructions in the dialogiue window and click "I'm ready. Let's do this!" to proceed
10 Target Drones appear in the cavern, aim at them with the crosshair, left-click to shoot
Or better: switch to Cursor mode by pressing space, left-press a drone and drag the health bar, then you can shoot by clicking the health bar
When a drone was shot down right-click the (empty) health bar and choose "Loot" from the dropdown menu to loot the drone
Most likely you will not receive any loot which is confirmed by a yellow message in the chat window saying: "This creature didn't carry any loot."
But you might also get lucky and a loot window appears showing one or more items that are added to your inventory automatically
Some of the Target Drones might "hide" between rocks
When you've shot all 10 of them return to Security Chief Harkow. In case you cannot kill all of them due to one or more being "UNREACHABLE" you can try abandoning the mission and ten restart the mission at Security Chief Harkow.
As soon as you approach him a dialogue window pops up, click to continue
The mission gets completed and you receive 400 weapon cells in a loot window
Leaving Crystalline Cavern[edit]
You can exit the cavern to Calypso Gateway through the big purple portal
Crystalline Cavern for old players[edit]
If you are a new player please ignore this section. Old players of Entropia Universe can enter the Crystalline Cavern this way:
- Go to Port Atlantis Marina
- Use the Televator at [61373, 75001, 104] to Calypso Gateway
- On Calypso Gateway don't do anything but using a flying vehicle to get to ~(69523, 66562, 250) (within the ocean)
- Enter Crystalline Cavern by walking into the 'purple haze'
